Shashank Bhardwaj is hailing from a family of musicians, he had keen interest in music and fine arts from a very young age, Due to the cultural richness of my home town Mysore I was exposed to a variety of traditional art forms and started to explore it further on my own, I came across Mysore style of painting about 12 years ago and I have learned the secrets of the art through study of classical texts, research across contemporary art forms, and restoration of old paintings.
He has showcased paintings in various shows like Mysore Dasara art expo, Art House Bangalore, Chitrasanthe Bangalore. World Art Expo at Dubai. He also conducted workshops on Mysore Painting and have trained around 100 students He has been awarded as “Kala Tapasvi” in 2019 by Mysore Samskruthika Kala Pratishtana, “Ovia Chemmal” by Puttu mariyamman Temple Tamil Naadu in 2019.
