Book Description
Preface

Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, is the Redeemer to the people of Kaliyuga through Krishna –Namasankirtana. To measure the depth of Sri Radha's exalted love for Him (Sri Krishna) to realize His own wonderful sweetness as tested by Sri Radha herself and to experience the ecstatic bliss that Sri Radha derives in her Love – Pastimes with Him Sri Krishna manifested himself as Gauranga (Sri Chaitanya) in this kali age.

Sri Chatanya Bhagavata written by Thakur Vridavandas and' Sri Chaitanya Charitamria' by Srila Krishnadas Kaviraj Goswami deal with the Leela of the supreme Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in this world. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu has taught us to conduct Haribhajan (Hari worship) after keeping company with the Vaishnavas. Man attains the highest good due to spiritual practice only. The Lord also said, Sadhu sanga, Nama Sankirtana, worshipping the Deity listening Srimad Bhagavat and dwelling in Mathura. He told Sri Sanatana Goswami all the inner truth of the Vaishnava Theology which is Known as Sanatana – Siksha. There he mentioned that essentially every Jiva-soul is the eternal servitor of Sri Krishna. He has given advise to Sri Rupa Goswami that some fortunate soul gets the seed of Bhakti by dint of the grace of Guru and Krishna. The devotee sows the seed in his heart and begins to water it with constant hearing and chanting of Krishna Nama in the company of Sadhus. The Bhakti Creeper transcending the fourteen world crosses the Viraja and washes of all mundane grossness from the mind of the devotees. The Bhakti creeper enters Brahmaloka without getting any support here it reached Paravyoma – vaikuntha. The Bhakti Creeper ultimately enters Goloka – Vrindavan, the highest Region of Transcendental Bliss.

As a mendicant he wandered throughout India and delivered sinners and the forsaken ones. Jagai and Madhai two vilest sinners became his ardent devotees. Roy Ramananda., the then Governor of Orissa renounced everything at his call. Six illustrious Goswamins of Vrindavan viz. Rupa, Sanatan, Bhatta Raghunath Srijiv, Gopal Bhatta and Bas Raghunath were his dear disciples. Great scholars like Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya and Prakasananda Saraswati acknowledged His Divinity.

They became strong admires of Him and began to follow the cult of Pure –Bhakti after giving up all the – devotional things. The king Prataprudra, the then mighty ruler of Orissa, dedicated himself unto Lord. Millions embraced his Creed.

The precepts of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu are embodient in eight in eight slokas uttered by Himself at Puri which go by the Name of Shikshastakam. In the Shikshastakam he has declared the greatness of chanting the Holy Name of Krishna. He told that there is no restriction as to the time, place etc. of the recitation and remembrance of lord's Name. By the bye he mentioned that one must be humbler than even a blade of grass and more forbearing than of a tree and give due respect to others without desiring for himself. Regarding the Prayer of a devotee he said, no riches, no friends or relatives no beautiful muse do I pray but O Lord I invoke for selfless devotion in every successive birth'. The lord recited the words of Sarangati i.e. surrender to Krishna in the last sloka of Shikshastakam.

In conclusion, I therefore beg to appeal to the Good sense of my benign readers to go through the pages of this book with a degree of attention. And I fervently hope that will be amply benefited in their spiritual Progress.

In the preface let me crave to Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu with the following hymn,

Namo Mhavadanya Krishnaprema Pradayate
Krishnaya Krishnachaitanya Namne Gauratishe Namaha

I salute him who is the Most Munificient, the free Giver of the love of Krishna, who is Krishna Himself and Whose name is Krishnachaitanya and the glow of whose Body dims the lustre of molten gold.

Oh devotees constantly hear, chant and meditate on the Nectarine Leela of the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the Redeemer of Kaliyuga through Krishna Name Sankirtana.
