Survey method is increasingly used in media research and called for orientation of the students and research scholars who are engaged in media research. There are many books on survey research but there is hardly any book on practical guide to conducting survey research in media studies. This book has been written with the premise that communication and journalism students need to sharpen their research skills in general and survey research in particular. This book gives practical examples besides explaining the theoretical concepts. The purpose of this book is to give useful practical knowledge to the students and researchers as there is dearth of qualified educationists to teach media research.
