Dr. Jigme Wangchuk Bhutia is the Controller of Examinations, Sikkim State University and is also affiliated with the Dept. of History Nar Bahadur Bhandari Degree College, Gangtok, Sikkim. He has been the Executive Member of the North East India History Association (NEIHA), Sikkim Chapter. He was one of the Chief Editor for the Gazetteer of Sikkim 2013, Dept. of Home Affairs, Government of Sikkim and is also the member of the State Level Implementation Committee (SLIC) for Heritage Preservation and Management, Cultural Affairs and Heritage Department, Government of Sikkim.
