The sole purpose of the series is to familiarize the young generation with famous Indians from all walks of life, and to create awareness about the festivals and the architectural wonders that have imprinted India's name in golden letters in the global scenario.

India has been a land of famous and talented personalities who have raised their level to reach the pinnacle in their respective fields. India has produced people of amazing capabilities in form of leaders, poets, writers, scientists, saints, film personalities and sportsmen, who have been highlighted in the series, as it is necessary to acknowledge their contribution time and again.

India has been a land of saints and sages since ages. Saints and Hermits have been a part of our society from the times of kings and Emperors. 'Famous Great Indian Saints' is a tribute to all the famous saints of India whose immortal sayings and teachings are still present in our culture and daily life.

Here, we have a close look at the teachings and life history of age old saints such as Buddha and Mahavira. They provided the divine light to the people and guided them in the right direction. The saints of the middle ages like Guru N anak, the founder of Sikhism, and Kabir are also mentioned. The contribution of Sai Baba and Swami Vivekananda is also noteworthy in the Indian context.

The exemplary contributions of the mother cannot be forgotten and the same can be said for Ramakrishna Paramhansa. India has also produced saints like Tulsidas and Ved Vyas, who have written eternal poems and texts explaining human values, which are still present there in our society.
