The author was born at Navsari in 1925 in the erstwhile territory of Gaekwar's in Gujarat. His entire education, however, was completed in Maharashtra at place like Bordi, (Dist. Thane), Wadia College, Fergusson College etc. He served in Indian customs and central excise department in various capacities in Gujarat's ultimately in Indian revenue service.
It is his firm belief that one should live in life as a pilgrim. As birds alight in the courtyard and then flock away. We should pass through this life.
The mystics in all ages and countries from a Divine society where there are no racial, communal and national prejudices. Jnaneshwar Mauli's Jnaneshwari is like Shuka's Bhagwat. His teachings have universal approach and for betterment and happiness of humanity as such. This small book has been written with this end in view-God- realisation and self-realisation.
