Foreword Though the press copy of this work, Kriyasvaralakṣapa or Yohi bhaşya was ready in the year 1956 and its publication was announced by Sri Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, the then Chief Minister of Hyderabad and the President of the Sanskrit Academy, in his introduction to the Academy's first publication, Jñanacaturvimèl, it could not see the light of the day, perhaps because of changes in fixing the priorities. As it is felt that much of effort put in by 80 Dr. Aryendra Sharma, the founder Director of the Academy and late Sri K. Sitaramayya, Research Assistant in the Academy, in procuring different manuscripts and editing the work should not go a waste, it has been decided to publish this work before the press copy gets completely damaged.
