About the Book In this work a series attempt has been made, for the first time, to write a scientific and connected political history of Pre-Buddhist India, It has been demonstrated that ancient Indian kings like Manu Yayati. Dasaratha, Yudhisthira and others, were genuine historical personalities, and not the imaginary creations of our ancient poets. It is hoped that this brilliant work will be lovingly accepted by the world of scholars.

About the Author Dr. Asim Kumar Chatterjee (40) is already well-known as a serious Indologist of modern times. A teacher of the post-graduate Department of Ancient Indian Histroy and Culture, Calcutta University, he has already published a good number of works on indology, His latest book entitled A Comprehensive Histroy of Jainism' has been acclaimed as the greatest work on this particular subject.
