The present book examines the revolutionary thoughts of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. It is a pioneer edited work, which is based on research articles that were presented in two days National Seminar. This book gives interesting and vivid information about social, politics and economic thoughts of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

Ambedkar's vision for the Indian Constitution was rooted in secularism and the protection of minority rights. He wanted a political system that would ensure equality and justice for all citizens, regardless of their religious affiliations. His work aimed to create a framework that would protect the rights of all communities in a unified India. After the partition, Ambedkar continued to express concern over the treatment of minorities and the challenges facing the newly formed nations. His focus remained on advocating for a just and equitable society. Ambedkar's influence is evident in the Indian Constitution, which emphasizes secularism, equal rights, and social justice. His vision of a united India based on these principles continues to be a guiding framework for addressing communal and minority issues in the country.

Dr. Ambedkar also held the view that education is an eloquent instrument for social harmony and nation-building. He started a mission to educate depressed people. Through education, he developed political and constitutional consciousness among poor and depressed masses.

He also stressed on the unity of the country. For this purpose, he wanted to protect the interests of untouchables and minorities. As a result, he provided safeguards to the dalits and minorities. He also believed in the dignity and empowerment of women. Being first Law Minister of Independent India and Chairman of the drafting committee of Indian Constitution, he decided to free women from all old-age evils. He made various legal provisions in the Constitution for the empowerment of women. He, therefore, also took initiative to draft and introduce the Hindu Code Bill in the Constituent Assembly. However, this Bill could not be passed in the Constituent Assembly due to a stiff opposition on this issue both inside and outside the Assembly.

Dr. Ambedkar's views on partition and his critique of the Two-Nation Theory remain relevant in discussions about communalism, secularism, and national unity in India. His work provides a valuable perspective on the importance of inclusivity and the challenges of dividing a diverse society. His views on the partition of India and the creation of Pakistan were shaped by his commitment to secularism, social justice, and the protection of minority rights. He believed that partition was a flawed solution to India's communal problems and advocated for a more inclusive and equitable approach to addressing these issues. Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, a seminal figure in Indian history, is renowned for his role in shaping modern India through the Indian Constitution. His perspectives on the partition of India and the subsequent creation of Pakistan offer profound insights into the socio-political dynamics of his time. Ambedkar's critique of the Two-Nation Theory and his views on the partition are essential for understanding the complexities of India's communal and political landscape. He was profoundly concerned about the potential repercussions of partition. He foresaw that dividing India would not only lead to the displacement and suffering of millions but also fail to resolve the core issues of social and economic inequality.

Prof. Gopal Parshad (Retd.) is presently working as Director of the Centre for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Studies. Kurukshetra University. He has more than 33 years of experience in teaching and research to his credit. His area of interest for research is the modern history of India. He has guided seven students for M. Phil and four students for Ph. D degrees. He has written extensively on the Political, Social and Economic History of Modern India and authored 'Industrial Development in Northern India (1858-1918): A Study of Delhi, Punjab and Haryana' (2005); 'Modes of Agriculture: A Study of Haryana and Punjab' (2019), 'Social Harmony and Nation Building: Perspective of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar' (2019). 'Revisiting Bhimrao Ambedkar: A Study of Social and Political Justice' (2019). 'Value-Based Electoral Politics of BJP' (2020), 'Ambedkar's Vision of Socio-Economic Transformation' (2020), 'The RSS: An Overview' (2021), Essays on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar (2022), Dr. Ambedkar: Mahila Sashaktikaran ke Visesh Sandhrbh Me (2023), Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's Vision for Self- Reliant India of 21st Century (2023) and Bharat Ki Avdharana (2024). All these books have been appreciated in the academic world, and some of these books have been released by the Hon'ble Governor and Chief-Minister of Haryana, and the rest by the Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. These books are available on Amazon, Flipkart, Google Books, etc. Moreover, 32 History books for undergraduate classes and 40 research articles published in national and international journals also flowed from his pen. His active participation in national and international conferences is also evidenced by his 100 research papers presented by him. His multifarious interest in various academic and other important activities is also reinforced by the fact that he has organized several seminars, workshops, conferences, and quiz competitions. He has also chaired and co- chaired the various sessions of national and international conferences. He is also a member of the Indian History Congress and the Punjab History Conference. His name is on the panels of various committees of the University, such as the U. G. and P. G. Board of Studies, the Inspection Committee, the Observer, the Selection Committee, the Unfair Means Committee, and the Complaint Committee.

Dr. Pritam Singh is working as Assistant Director, Centre for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Studies, Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra. He has more than 19 years' experience of teaching and research. His thrust area of research is Ambdkar studies, Dalit literature, Buddhist philosophy etc. He has published various books such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Jivan Darshan (2014), Amrit Atal (2019), Samajik Sangrash Ke Preneta: Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (2019), Essays on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar (2022), Dr. Ambedkar: Mahila Sashaktikaran ke Visesh Sandhrbh Me (2023), Dr. B. R. Ambedkar's Vision for Self-Reliant India of 21st Century (2023) and Bharat Ki Avdharana (2024). Apart from these, 13 research articles published in national and international journals also flowed from his pen. He has presented more than 21 research papers in national and international conferences. He is also awarded for his social services by Red Cross, Vidhya Bharati, KDB, Rotary Club etc.

The present book titled 'Revolutionary Vision of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar' is a culmination of the collective wisdom of sixteen distinguished teachers and eminent scholars. Their research-based articles shed abundant light on the various aspects of Ambedkar's vision and his contribution to India's social, political, and economic transformation, making this book a valuable resource for understanding his revolutionary vision.

Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891-1956), popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, is a towering figure in modern Indian history. His life and work are not just a testament but a cornerstone of the relentless pursuit of social justice, human rights, and the upliftment of the marginalized sections of society.

Dr. Ambedkar embarked on a mission to eradicate the deeply entrenched caste system. He recognized that the struggle for independence from British rule was incomplete without addressing the social inequalities perpetuated by the caste hierarchy. His activism took various forms, including public speeches, writings, and the establishment of organizations dedicated to the cause of social justice. He also struggled throughout life to secure human rights, abolish untouchability, and do away with the authority of the old caste system. He realized that without the annihilation of the caste system, social harmony and nation-building could not be carried out as well as accomplished. He was not only anti-caste system and anti-Brahmanism but also against all kinds of injustice and exploitation. To secure social rights to the untouchables or depressed classes, he launched Mahad Satyagraha. In 1926, the Municipality Committee passed an order to throw open the Chavdar tank to all sections of society, but it could not be implemented.
