Chakravarthi Sharma was born in Trissur (Kerala State) but has all his education in Mumbai. He got his Masters degree in Organic Chemistry in 1959 from Bombay University and came Untied States in 1959 for his higher studies. He got his Ph. D in biochemistry 1964 from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. He was elected as an Associated Member of Royal Institute of chemistry (London) in 1961. He was a teaching research faculty in biochemistry for two years university, Boston, MA. He moved on to Iowa university and then to University of Georgia, Augusta, GA and finally to Louisiana State University Medical School at New Orleans LA.

Dr. Sharma, a practising Hindu, comes form a lineage of Hindu religious scholars, and his grandfather was a Temple priest in South India and a scholar recitation of Sama Veda. Dr. Sharma was initiated into Hindu religion at the age of. He learnt the scriptures from his grandfather for about six years.

In 1981 he initiated into, Priesthood in the presence of the Kanchi Paramacharya Poojya Swami Chandrasekara Saraswati from Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India. Sharma is a practising priest for 20 years in New Orleand. He is attached to Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayan Temple, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the sutradhari in the process of consecration of the New Orleans Temple.

He has been teaching Hinduism to young adults for the last four year’s. Recently he has moved to Dallas, TX

Dr. Sharma has published few articles on Hinduism; to mention a few, awareness and Pure Consciousness”, “Japa”, Atharva Sirsha Ganesha Upanishad”“ (what it is and what it is not).

Rajani Sharma: Sharma (wife of Dr: Sharma) was born Mumbai (India). Her family originally comes from Mangalore, Karnataka state in India. She had her education in Mumbai (India) and got her Master’s degree in Chemistry, from Bombay University. She is a gold medalist from Bombay University for obtaining top scores in Chemistry.

She comes from a family of Sanskrit scholars and all her forefathers were Hindu priests in the temples in Karnataka, India. She came to United States in the year 1961. She got her Master’s degree in biochemistry from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA she worked research Louisiana State University medical school, New Orleans, LA. She has been closely associated with Dr. C. Sharma in all his writings. Because of her scholarship in Sanskrit language, she provided the necessary interpretations of the Sanskrit scriptures.

She was teaching Hinduism with Dr. Sharma to young adults in New Orleans LA.

The central theme of Hinduism is in understanding “there is only GOD” and it is the creator and as well as the things created. It is BRAHMAN. Known and unknown is Brahman. We are Brahman. When we gain this vision of self, we find ourselves to be free from all limitations. These limitations are self-imposed due to ignorance and error.

In this booklet, we have tried to elaborate in a lucid way, what sastras and Upanishads have been saying about lsvarah. We have tried to present to a serious enquirer in a logical fashion (as presented in Upanishads) about the identity of self with lsvarah.

The Lord is Rot only the creator but also the creation. Therefore; the creation is not separate from Isvarah and Isvàrah is both the efficient and the material cause of the creation. No product is separate from the material cause of the creation. No product is separate from the material of which it is made. Since lsvarah is both the efficient and the material cause and that is the reason why creation is not separate from the creator.
