This charming painting captures an intimate moment between Radha and Krishna. Krishna attired in a yellow lower garment and wearing a high crown set on top of a turban slips bangles on to the thin wrist if his beloved. A long necklace of lotus buds extends down his neck, in addition to several pearl necklaces. Radha and Krishna both rest against a huge bolster. In the immediate foreground near them can be seen various ornaments with which Krishna will further adorn her. He tenderly adjusts the bangles already on her wrist while Radha looks on, her intense devotion and affection shining forth from her demeanor.

This colorful painting shows the divine couple seated under an elaborate arched column supported on four pillars. The canopy is disticntictively modeled on its Mughal prototype. The entire composition is framed in a double border; while the first consisting of flowering vines is wider, the second border made up of arabesque is smaller.
