The pacified holy river Ganga depicted as a goddess and attired in a natural pink saree looks stunning. At the same time, she is looking amazingly beautiful in alluring jewelry worn on her head and neck.

This is a depiction of Shiva in his Gangadhar form. The saga, based on Hindu mythology goes as follows - After King Bhagiratha’s extreme penance to bring her to earth, Ganga agreed to be released from heaven. But she insisted that only Lord Shiva could control her powerful and torrential flow on descending. Bhagirath then did the penance for Shiva. Shiva was pleased and to mollify the force of Ganga, he received Ganga on his matted lock hair, finally released the Ganges to flow softly on the earth, and thus became Gangadhara. Lord Shiva is the supreme being in Shaivism, one of the major traditions within Hinduism. He is known as "The Destroyer" within the Trinity(Trimurti), the Hindu trinity which also includes Brahma and Vishnu.

Aesthetically conceived with optimal finishing, this glamorous hand-painted artwork figuring Shiva- Ganga would remain uniform as regards its texture, color, and sparkling for years to come. This engaging painting has got its voice to narrate its growth and mesmerize the onlookers to hang it up inside their dwellings.
