After a long day of brightening the mortal realm, Surya Deva (Sun god) is about to take a dip in the water of Yamuna Ji, birds are returning toward their nests, and animals are moving to the interiors of the forest. It is Sandhya Kaal (evening) at the Ghat (banks) of the river Yamuna. The scenic beauty of the sunset, the fragrance of wildflowers, and the sweet songs of birds, all of them have been condensed into one magnificent presence in this oil on canvas- Sri Krishna.
