This brass musical instrument, generally known as a Bugle is a tenor trumpet traditionally known as Tuturi. It is made of brass and has one turn. It is primarily used in various religious events and holy music in temples. It is always played in succession with the bass trumpet. It is not given any calls or modulations, but rather, it is sounded repeatedly with a wild shrill effect in tandem with the pipes being used to perform the songs. It is an integral part of the traditional temple music ensemble.
