Hindu tradition states that the chakra is depicted as comprising a white color as well as sixteen smoke-colored or purple petals. He creates the signals of granting dispelling fear and boons while seated on an elephant with white color. The silver falcate is the astral sign of nada, pure celestial sound. The falcate is representative of cleanliness, and cleanliness is an essential attribute of Vishuddha Chakra.
The 16 smoke-colored petals on Vishuddha have the 16 vowels of Sanskrit written on them with golden color: अ aआ āइ iई īउ uऊ ūऋ ṛॠ ṝऌ ḷॡ ḹए eऐ aiओ oऔ auअः ḥअं ṃ. These petals match up to the mantra Ong Vittis (Aum), nectar Amrita, Namak, Swaha, Swadha, Washat, Phat, mantras Hung, Sama-mantras, and the 7 musical tones.
