Mangalya Ghosh is currently residing in Howrah, West Bengal. Their schooling was completed at Kendriya Vidyalaya Fort William in Kolkata, and their graduation in Fine Arts took place at Kala Bhavana, Visva-Bharati University in Shantiniketan. The artist's main subjects of interest revolve around mythology and its relationship with the present world.
Most of Mangalya Ghosh's artworks are centered on various forms of goddesses. In addition to paintings, they also excel in creating sculptures, and illustrations, as well as writing poems and stories.
