Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj is the 5th original Jagadguru today. In the past only four Saints have been acknowledged as original Jagadgurus -

Jagadguru Shri Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Shri Ramanujacharya, Jagadguru Shri Nimbarkacharya and Jagadguru Shri Madhvacharya.

His scriptural omniscience and masterly reconciliation of all the scriptures and of varying philosophies left all the scholars of Kashi Vidvat Parishat, Varanasi (a body of 500 topmost scholars of India who collectively represent the seat of spiritual learning) spellbound and speechless; they honoured him with the special title of ‘Jagadguruttam’ (Supreme amongst all Jagadgurus) on 14th Jan. 1957, he was only 34 years then.

Being impressed by his loving Divine Personality they declared him as ‘Bhakti-yoga-rasavatar’ (Descension of Divine Love and Bliss).

Elaborating on this verse during his stay in Navadvip Dham from 4 to 11 January 2007, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj gave several discourses on the philosophy of Divine Love. The fortunate devotees had the golden opportunity to listen to him directly. In this book all his discourses elaborating on this verse have been translated in English to convey his message more profoundly. This is a priceless spiritual treasure for all devotees.
