With the boundless blessings of Supreme Lord Shree Jagannath, Goddess Maa (Mother) Shree Biraja, Goddess Maa Shree Saraswati, and Lord Shree Ganesha, I am honored to present to you my translation of the 'Bhavisya Mälika." This divine collection of books was written six-hundred years ago by the 'Panchasakha' (Five divine companions of Supreme Lord Shree Jagannath) in the ancient Odia language, and I have endeavoured to translate its quintessence into Hindi, English, and other languages. My objective behind this translation is to contribute towards humanity's welfare by rekindling the values of Sanatan Dharma worldwide. I believe that this book will be of great help to true. Devotees in resurrecting their lost traditions and virtues from their past lives and progressing toward the Satya Yuga.
"Bhavisya Mâlika" is an ancient series of texts that contains information about the actions of the Supreme Lord, Maha- Vishnu, especially at the end of Kali Yuga when He descends on Earth for the upliftment and re-establishment of Dharma. Heralding His descent, the text offers insight into details such as His birth, the divine actions that He will perform, His meetings with His devotees, the condition of the world at the time of his arrival, and once He incarnates how He will perform the act of re- establishment of Dharma in the world and guide the world from one Yuga (era) to another. All these details were written as per the Lord's own directions. This is so that mankind can follow this sacred canon of scriptures and adopt a path of righteousness, as prescribed in the Vedas, which will enable them to obtain God's grace and protection. Therefore, the Bhavisya Mälikä exhorts people to embark on the path of Dharma and provides guidance on how to live a righteous life, providing insight into the divine plan for the universe.
In the Treta Yuga, Lord Brahma instructed sage Narada to extol the virtues of Lord Rama and herald His arrival on Earth. Sage Narada then recited the glories of Lord Rama, which Maharishi Valmiki compiled into the epic scripture known as the Shreemad Ramayana.
According to ancient texts like the Manusmriti, time is cyclical and is divided into four Yugas-Satya Yuga, Treta Yuga, Dwapara Yuga, and Kali Yuga (most recent era, considered to be the age of materialism and evil). According to correct interpretation of ancient texts, the Kali Yuga has already ended, and we are currently in a "fifth Yuga (sub-Yuga, a transitional period) called as the 'Ananta Yuga' or 'Aadya Satya Yuga, information about which heretofore has not been so well known. This information has been made public to devotees through the Bhavisya Mälika, a treatise written by five followers of Shree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, known as Panchasakha. The Bhavisya Malika is prophesied to play a significant role in upliftment and emancipation of humanity from the materialism and evils of the bygone Kali era in the upcoming years.
Although Kali Yuga has ended, its negative influence still prevails worldwide in the final transitional phase of the Yuga when the malefic effects of Kali (Kali Yuga's representational dark entity) are at their peak. This results in conflicts and violence between individuals, families, villages, governments, and even nations. Additionally, sickness and disease are rampant, and survival without medicine is difficult.
