This bibliographic survey is first of its kind in the area of Palaeography and Manuscriptology. It is the strength and importance of this work. Dr. Sweta Prajapati, the editor of the present work is working as a Research Officer in the Oriental Institute, M.S. University, Baroda. Her Ph.D: thesis 'Influence of Nyāya Philosophy on Sanskrit Poetics' published in 1998, has brought approbation from the scholars. Various Gold Medals and prizes are awarded to her for her outstanding career. She has so far contributed 25 research papers written in Eng lish, Hindi and Gujarati to various academic journals. Though Alan kāraśāstra is her specialised field, yet, the other fields like Nyāyaśāstra, Manuscriptology and Modern Sans krit Literature have captured her irrepressible interest.
