Veda stands for the ultimate fulfilment of knowledge. It objectively reveals all aspects of life in the world and beyond. However, the physical, spiritual, and divine connotations of everything said there are some keys necessary for unravelling the truth embedded and coded.
Acharya Durgacharan Shukla is a dedicated scholar devoted to the cause of bringing home the hidden deeper meanings underlying the hymns and the mantras of the Vedas. His commentary on Vedic Mantras and hymns of Rigveda pertaining to seet Agastya published by Sandipani Ved Vidya Pratishthan, Ujjain has already received a wide acclaim. It was suggested to him that he should write a commentary on the mantras perceived by women seers which is in great demand of the people. Acharya Shukla undertook this venture and his voluminous book has come out published by Eastern Book Linkers, Delhi in 2018 in Hindi Maharshi Agastya Vedic Santhanam, Bhopal aims at propagating the Vedic View of Supreme World Order all the world over. We have, therefore, taken up instantly the project of translating this epoch-making book into English and publish it right away for the benefit of the world community.

When I joined the Girls Higher Secondary School Tikamgarh, 1 came to notice the presence of two virtual Ralukar (women teachers) in its courtyard. It was a rate experience for me to witness the Rigvedic women seers blossoming in these two girls personalities. It was like a manifestation of the idea my teacher- had imparted to me some time back only 1, therefore, now take the opportunity to express my gratefulness to MS Tarla Pande (now Mrs Tarla Joshi, the wife of Murli Manohar Joshi, former Union Minnter, Government of India) and MS Maduhri Pande for enriching my vision and experience about this book.
I fondly and respectfully recall here my elder brother Pandit Krishnlal Shatri, who introduced me to the basics of the Sanskrit language at home and under a strict discipline of a traditional Brahmnical order, made me follow the life of a studious learner for the rest of my life.
I am grateful to Pandit Prabhudayal Mishra, the President of Maharshi Agastya Vedic Sansthanam, Bhopal, who provided me suitable opportunity to undertake this adventure. I also feel equally obliged to other office bearers of the Sansthanam who have always encouraged an ordinary learner like me to venture upon an ambitious project like this. Particularly, my respectful brother Late Pandit Kapildev Tailang, the family teacher and guide of the Royal family of the erstwhile Orchha State, Tikamgarh, deserves many compliments for promoting me to accomplish this onerous task.
I further acknowledge the help extended to me by Late Pandit Pooran Mishra, Jalon in my timely search for a suitable title of this book.
Prabhu Dayal Mishra, President, Maharshi Agastya Vedic Sansthanam After the publication of an exhaustive commentary on the Mantras of Agastya, this is Acharaya Durgacharn Shukla's other epoch- making contribution in the series of the Vedic research. Undertaken by Maharshi Agastya Vedic Sansthanam, Bhopal, India. I can personally bear witness to the commitment of this onerous task undertaken by Acharaya Shukla in his earnest inclination of spreading the correct Illustration of the Vedic context which at times has been used for a limited purpose only. A few years back from now, we were engaged in the discussion about the publication of the commentary of the mantras perceived by Agastya in Sandipani Ved Vidya Pratishthan Ujjain, when Prof. Roopkishor Shastri, suggested that Shri Shukla should also take up the commentary of the mantras perceived by women seers of the Vedas. Shri Shukla was in the meantime engaged in the completion of the commentary of Hayagreev Shakti Sutra and the Vyautpatti Kosh of Bundeli language. As these books are now duly published. He has ardently come up with this a little long drawn task carried on simultaneously all these years despite his advancing age and ailments. It also took some time as Shukla Ji wanted all authentic commentaries made available for consultation before finalizing it. I am happy that he has duly completed this commendable work which fulfills a great need of this era of 'Nari Vimarsh' and gender equality. I am sure; the completion of it is certainly due to the blessings of Para Shakti Herself to whom he is so much devoted to.
