This novella took birth many years ago as a T bedtime story for my kids. I started telling it to them one night and kept stretching it over several days by adding adventurous episodes. During the lockdown of 2020, while I was working from home for a few weeks, I started writing it down, intending it to be a part of a story collection book. However, it took on a life of its own, evolved into a more refined tale and went into dimensions that were not part of the original story, perhaps willed by Him. It is as if the tale grew up from being a playful child into a genuine sadhak. Being a part of this book has been a deeply spiritual experience for me and I hope it is so for the reader as well. The journey that Raghu undertakes in this book, along with the obstacles, help and blessings that he gets along the path are an allegory for what a real spiritual journey would also look like. I believe Raghu lies dormant in each of us. With Mahadev's grace and guru's blessings, may we awaken the Raghu inside us and embark on a journey of inner transformation.
