Among manuscripts of particular interest are the "Smarta-bodha-sangraha" (136/28472) as a testimony to the love for learning among the rulers. It is a work on the Dharmasastra. The "Visnu-Sahasranama" (1136/28606) with a commentary in Hindi dated V.S. 1754 provides enough material for the linguist as well. Madhava Bhatta in his "Sura-Simha-vamsa-prasasti kavya"(1476/28611) dated V.S.1777 has given us an panegyrical account of the rulers of Bikaner which can be utilised with profit in dynastic histories. The two valuable commentaries on the well known works of the poet Kalidasa (1460/29468) and 1468/28768) add to the existing commentaries on the two texts. For students of grammar the"Vardhamana Mangla tika"of the Sarasvata Vyakarana (1579/28699) of V.S.1783 has its own value. The - Rekha Ganita" (1753/28623), "Pancangadhikara" (1826/- 28621 and the "Prabodha Sudhakara"(1829/28420)are excellent works on astronomy.
