It is evident from the manuscripts catalogued that either most of them are mere commentaries on the well-known works or they are works in line with the usual Sanskrit writing tradition. Picked up as works of special significance, we have, the "Durgavati-Prakasa.' (68/25655) of Padmanabha Bhattacarya named after Dalpatigaha's consort Durgavati. It is an essay like work on the Dharmasastra. The "Kumara-sambhava." (1115/ 25552) of Navamta Rama Migra composed in the times of Vitthalesvara is something that still needs further study. Inspired by Kalidasa's Meghaduta, we have the "Bhramara-duta" (1159/25167) of Khanderama in keeping with the 'cloud messenger' tradition of the great poet. The "Sabhedarya Saptasati" (1173/25551) in the "Arya." meters is yet another important manuscript by Gosvami Sriniketan. The author belonged to the scholarly family of the Tailanga Brahmins who had settled in Bikaner and made valuable contributions to Sanskrit literature in its manifold aspects.
