In this concise book, revelations based on self realization as well as by others have been highlighted. Facts based on these revelations make the book much more important. Its main topic is "celibacy is life and sensuality is death." When life goes out of the body, the two life-giving elements - blood and semen also disappear and are converted into water. A man suffering from cholera faces the same fate - his blood begins turning into water, which goes out of the body in the form of vomiting and diarrhea. Even if a part of his body is cut, it does not ooze blood and soon he dies. So it is proved that a man can survive so long as blood and semen are present in his body and soon after these two are destroyed, he too goes to destruction. The more a man destroys his semen, the more he gradually loses blood and goes to death. The more a man preserves his semen, the more he becomes full of vitality; he manifests strength, virility, determination, capability, manliness, intelligence, perfection and godliness, and gains a long life. A man having lost his semen cannot survive for long and a man having preserved his semen never dies an untimely death. A weak person is persecuted by all. Even by the law of nature, the weak do not survive. Truly speaking, semen is the element of immortality. By preserving it, man can attain victory over old age and death. It was due to this vitality that Bhishma Pitamah could gain such strength to overcome untimely death. If we too preserve this vitality by practice of celibacy, we can also emulate him, since preservation of semen is the secret of self-redemption and human vitality.
