We are Very happy that Saraswati Mahal Library Publishing a good Sanskrit work named ‘chandra Kala Shahajeeam (Amanat 19/34/Collections) of Chokkanatha Kavi
The author was a poet in the Royal Court of Shaji The Maharaja of Thanjavur (1684-1710) The Poet in this small work gives a vivid picture of Vipralambha Sringara in a lucid language. The style of description reminds us the great kalidasa.
Our Thanks are due to the editor Sri Srinivasan the Sanskrit pandit of the Library for his sincere service in bringing out this work.
Our thanks are due to the Government of India for their liberal grants in publishing the manuscripts.
I appreciate Messers Sarma’s Sanatorium Press Pudukkottai for their neat printing work.
