Throughout history, the modern man was not the only human species to have thrived on earth. His many cousins roamed the vastness of this planet aeons before him. The Neanderthals, the Denisovan, and the Flores Man to name a few. They all were very special in their own ways. They were mean survival beings adapting to the harshness of their environment.
Then came along the modern man who, rather than adapting to the prevalent environment, began carving it to suit his own needs. He had thought he would live forever and dominate the world, unquestioned. But his reign, his unchallenged dominance was to run out of steam soon. Around the middle of the twenty- first century he finally began to run out of time. The food was scarce, freshwater was hard to find; even his genome grew weaker. All this happened because he took liberty with the Nature beyond any limits. And Nature, no matter how passive it may seem, always retaliates when pushed to an extreme corner.
Around AD 2050, Man had to voluntarily give way to a new human species. Man's population had been dwindling at alarming levels and his last attempts at saving his own kind were failing to produce any results. It was then that he participated in an experiment. Consequently, the modern man then transformed into a much wiser immortal being.
All that we know about the ancient predecessors of humans is from archaeological findings. And what we know about the modern man, comes from his own writings. But, what we don't know is the story of his successor-the wiser immortal being.
This story is set in 2050.2.0000001 FV, about two million solar years past the base year of AD 2050 (the last of the AD years). The Kali-Yuga has transformed into Swarnim-Yuga. And, Bhoomi (the erstwhile Earth) has been inherited by the new successors- the Manavas. Although Manavas are immortal and have evolved beyond primordial emotions such as-anger, rage, and jealousy; they do have their own issues to deal with. Despite being the epitome of human evolution, they continue to deal with the modern man's legacy left behind from over two million years ago.
The Manavas are few in number and geographically restricted to the last of the continents on Bhoomi. While some of them are quite liberal and rational, few others are highly spiritual. But, what they have in common is their unwavering faith in Lord Vishnu (or his various avatars). Come what may, they believe Lord Vishnu will always be there for them.
This is the story that has never been told before, and for which there were no records up until now. The story of what happened after the modern man's dominance ended and his world crashed- the story of the Manavas.
