A major figure in what we know as the Bhakti movement, Sant Kabir was born to weavers in the holy city of Kashi, Uttar Pradesh. Critical of the religious orthodoxy of his times, Kabir spoke of spirituality beyond the politics of weaponized religion and spoke to people about the ethics of goodness in their own language - spreading his reformist message miles away. This book is a simple Hindi edition of Kabir’s beautiful thought-provoking poetry.
