Creativity is not about bringing to existence something "new" but about bringing in new consciousness in the movement of life. A consciousness which is caught in the web of "I" and "mine," is not pure and does not connect with the whole. A miserable person lives in such disconnect and hence constantly experiences loneliness and a sense of isolation. Freedom from such isolation, loneliness and disconnect, should be one's destination.
Creative understanding involves the experience of the fundamental truth that "life is eternal but living is transient." In the process of wanting an experience one misses the true experience of the moment. If one can experience something without the "experiencer" or the past looming in the path of the experience, then every experience would be therapeutic. One realizes that worry does not prevent bad things from happening but to celebrate all wonderful things that happen, one needs to be worry free!
The Bhagavad Gita is a great manual that helps us soak in divine thoughts in our mundane lives and learn how to move into a dimension of timelessness; an art which cannot be taught but has to be caught. It is then that one realizes existence alone exists while the illusionary "I" creates chaos in this cosmos.
In the ending of this foolishness is creative living. Learning to benefit from an experience, maximizing happiness and minimizing unhappiness is creative living.
