Within me are two, a bard and a loon. The bard expounds tunes sans phonemes. The loon swims crosscurrents, the river is not made of waters. The bard relishes the straight, the loon leans to the curves. The two do not get along, they are at poles. The bard who perceives the bright side of truth darts through it; starry dust all over him. The loon looks at the dark side of truth. He whiffs its mysterious blooms; his wings are laden with the pollen of darkness.
