In the field of Ayurveda Dr. Sharad M.Porte has tried keenly and outcomes of his efforts in this book is in your hands called `Vyavahar Ayurveda Evam Vidhi Vaidyak. I hope it would be a great help to the entire BAMS students, MD (Agad Tantra) students and Teachers of Agad Tantra.

I congratulate Dr. Sharad M.Porte for his sincere efforts in bringing out this book named `Vyavahar Ayurveda Evam Vidhi Vaidyak’.

In this book there are two part, one is Vyavahar Ayurveda and second is Vidhi Vaidyak. The Vyavahar Ayurveda highlighted the application of medical knowledge for ad-ministration of law. The Vyavahar Ayurveda deals Identification of Persons, Medico-Legal Procedure in Court, Medico-Legal Aspect of Death, Medico-Legal Autopsy, Medico-Legal Aspect of Ashyxial Death, Medico-Legal Aspect of Sexual Offence, Medico-Legal Aspect of Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical & Firearm Injury. It also deals with the Medico-Legal Aspect of Abortion, Pregnancy, Delivery, Sterility and Impotance. Medico-Legal Aspect of Forensic Psychiatry is also described in this section.

The term Vidhi Vaidyak deals with application of legal knowledge in the practice of Ayurveda. In this section CCIM Act, Consumer Protection Act, Medicolegal Negligency, Medical Ethics, Medical Etiquete, Conduct, Misconduct, Rights and Duties of Vaidya (Doc-tor) has been included.

I hope this book will gives proper direction for BAMS & MD (Agad Tantra) Stu-dents for Theoritical & practical examination purposes. It will also help to Teacher of Agad Tantra and Vyavahar Ayurveda Evam Vidhi Vaidyak for teaching purposes.
