Dr. Soumitra Chakraborty is an Associate Professor of a degree engineering college, Mallabhum Institute of Technology. Bishnupur in the district of Bankura. His educational qualification is: BA (Hons in English), MA (English); M.Phil (English), Ph.D. (English) He possesses nearly 18 years of teaching experience in higher education. He is an academician, a fundamental thinker and a researcher who has contributed research papers in various UGC listed refereed journals. Dr. Chakraborty is a columnist who writes in some frontline magazines and dailies at regular intervals. As an ideologue of 'Cultural Nationalism', the author strongly puts forward his views in various seminars, workshops and conferences.
