He was born on Sunday, the 2-January, 1955. From his youth he came in touch with so many saints throughout the length & breadth of West Bengal in search of truth. He came across the mild matured & soft spoken, Srimat Swami Shuddhanand Giri Maharaj, the Acharya who was the president of Jhargram Sevayatan. He was initiated in Kriya yoga at the reverend feet like lotus of his guru on 2-January 1976. He was allowed to live in the ashram in 1978 as ashramite. From that time onwards he devoted himself to concentrate on meditation. At the inspiration of Guru, he started meditation to achieve the knowledge of endless and the all mighty. He learnt the art of leading secular life are Brhmacharya from the Reverend Swami Bhabananda Giri Maharaj in 1982. He went to Varanasi in 1982 with a view to learning Vedanta. There as he continued his studies he came in close contact with Kriyayogi Sri Satyacharan Lahiri. There after 12 years he attained the title "Vedantacharya" from Sampurnananda Sanskrit University (That too in the 1 class). While he was studying in Varanasi (Kashi) he used to visit cave of Gangotri in the Himalayas or in the cave of Kashmir Valley all alone for meditation. He attained the occult power in Hathayoga, Rajyoga & Kriyayoga.

Thus in Varanasi he was proclaimed as troy Yogacharya. Swamiji has been establishing five Ashr Chitagong (B.D.), Howrah (W.B.), Rishikesh (U.K.), Rajahmundry (A.P.), Ponda (GOA). We are fortunate enough to have a person like him as our GURU showing us the path of emancipation. We are lucky to achieve the surest way for peace and salvation and the key to self-realization at the company of yogasiddha Swamiji. We are truly blessed and fortunate.

As the days passed by since the creation of mankind they have tried to move from being civilized to more civilized to most civilized. We and all want the development, ascendance and upliftment of mankind based on knowledge accomplished by education. And for attaining this goal all endeavour is being made to nurture knowledge and science. Till then why man is drowned in darkness: it is the darkness of ignorance? Will'a man come out of this darkness this answer cannot be meted out by scientific or technological practices. Man can come out of this ignorance through a sense of perception. The darkness of the environment can be removed either by rays of Sun or by electricity. But what about darkness of mind? One cannot get rid of this darkness by the method as describe earlier. However, this darkness or ignorance can be overcome by the spark of knowledge attained seriously and systematically.

Mere utterance of truth cannot offer and does not deserve to proclaim it. Truth can be achieved or established only by realization. After searching my soul and taking note of what the soul has achieved from another soul, this needs to be expressed to the society. I want to acquaint you with the source of my attainment that I have accomplished with the blessings of somebody. May be you are also a devotee and have taken the endeavour towards attaining the goal. Your soul is eager to attain ascendency. You also become a part to the endless happiness. Without waiting for bouquet, brickbats or blessings let us start the endeavour of searching the soul and the truth, I have everything in sight. Everything is not related to self and transient in nature. I am seer, I am soul and I am a permanent feature. Where am I? After an extensive search I find I am nowhere.
