In some places passages have been reproduced from the Mandi State Gazetteer, the old edition of the Suket State Gazetteer, the Forest Settlement Report of the Suket State, the Assessment Reports of the Suket State, and the Punjab Census Reports. Doctor Hutchison of Chamba has contributed the chapter on the political history of the state.

In some places passages have been regeodinned from the Mandi State Caster, the old eftim of the Scher State Getter, the Forest Sentiment Bepers of the Saket State, the Ames Beports of the Saker State, and the Punjab Census Deporte for which the occupiler offers his thanks to their sathers. My thanks are also dne to Doctor Ection of Chambs for his chapter on the political history of the State. I will feel amply repaid if the present work proves naeful to the public.
