In preparing the book, Hemant has shown amazing restraint during typing and Lay out which is also reflected in the book. I would also like to thank S. Chand Publication, who inspired me to create a new book and in the end I am thankful to my wife Neelam, son Satwik and daughter Aadya who were instrumental in maintaining the environment that would be required for writing the book.
I am giving special thanks to Dr. Vikas Divyakriti Sir - DRISHTI IAS, who had given me opportunity to teach 'Geography of India' before such a big crowd at Delhi. That responsibility has put some extra pressure on me. During the teaching I have enhanced my knowledge and understanding regarding Geography of India and it helps me in writing of this book.
