On January 10, 2018, a little girl allegedly disappeared in Kathua district of Jammu province. Even before her body was recovered a week later, a sinister narrative was launched alleging that the girl was abducted, gang raped and killed by ‘RSS-minded’ Hindus in a Hindu temple. Talib Hussain, a PDP-Hurriyat activist with criminal antecedents led the campaign, in which Patwari Sanji Ram was declared as the ‘mastermind’.
Mehbooba Mufti, the then CM of J&K, deftly used this opportunity to arbitrarily arrest hundreds of young Hindus of Kathua district. Amid unprecedented protests by the Bar Association, several BJP leaders as well as leading citizens of Jammu, cutting across party lines, begged the PMO for a CBI investigation. But the demand was snubbed, and the fake narrative allowed to run amok.
Madhu Purnima Kishwar personally investigated the case over three years. With meticulously video-recorded interviews, extensive analysis of legal documents, financial transactions, and social media posts, she exposes how the Mufti government astutely used the mainstream media, foreign-funded NGOs and puppet academics to get the police and the judiciary to legally persecute innocent Hindus to further their subversive agenda of Land & Demographic Jihad in Jammu province.
Shockingly, leading journalists and ‘public intellectuals’ ignored even the post-mortem, which does not support rape charge to globally vilify Jammu Hindus and the Modi government. This book effectively blasts the fake narrative and exposes the masterminds behind it.
Madhu Purnima Kishwar describes herself as a 'Factarian' - someone who allows facts to guide her conclusions instead of soul-destroying ideologies and 'Isms' mindlessly imported from the Abrahamic world. Neither Left nor Right Wing, she prefers to be a 'Truth Winger'.

Writing this book has been one of the most stressful and painful experiences of my life. The process of decoding the lies and deceit used in manufacturing the fake narrative around the #GhazwaVictim murder case has been extremely traumatic, especially since some of the key players, notably the Mufti clan, were once my close friends. Needless to say, after coming to grips with the facts, I had to severe my links with them in one go. I looked in vain for explanations as to how Mehbooba Mufti, who masquerades as a normal human being and a justice monger to boot, could commit such evil acts without a tinge of remorse, that too against very vulnerable persons who had done her no harm. Politicians are habituated to playing dirty games. But they usually target their actual or potential rivals. In this case, totally innocent persons far away from the corridors of power were targeted and used as a peg to hang a hate- soaked narrative of Hindu demonization.
In order to understand the motivation behind the crime, I was forced to confront the ideological fountainhead that drives Mehbooba Mufti and her comrades-in-arms. That led me to start familiarizing myself with the core doctrines of Islam and the life of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). This exercise is truly traumatic, but it started clearing the mental fog that had kept me blinded for so long, thanks to the ultra-sickular, Macaulayite education which is visibly hostile to Hindu culture and knowledge traditions. The so-called minorities are allowed to indoctrinate their children through multiple means and institutions but Hindus have been systematically deracinated as part of state policy in India.
As I tried to face up to the sinister politics behind the mysterious killing of #GhazwaVictim, the body of evidence and its ramifications. grew in size to necessitate breaking up the manuscript into two separate books. The second book, which is being published as a sequel to this book, exposes with hard evidence the larger game plan behind the #GhazwaVictim murder case. This is perhaps the first time that J&K politics has been presented from the view point of Jammu Hindus whose vulnerable position and sorry plight has never received even a fraction of the attention grabbed by Kashmiri Muslims.
As we go to press, on November 2, 2022, I google searched "human rights violations in J&K." In less than a second, I got 5,93,000 results (0.62 seconds). An overwhelming number of these reports pertain to alleged atrocities by security forces against Muslims of Kashmir, which are mostly based on phoney allegations. It was hard to find anything pertaining to the vulnerabilities and severe discrimination faced by the Hindus of Jammu province. In that sense, these two books can well be called "A Subaltern View of J&K Politics" because there are hardly any books documenting the plight of Hindus of Jammu province.
Among other things, readers are likely to find in it an instructive case study of the Islamic doctrine of Taqiyya (willful deceit in the service of mazhab) which has been widely practiced for centuries, along with barbaric acts of violence, loot and plunder to force non- Muslims to convert to Islam or flee from their homelands, as happened during the Partition of India in 1947.
