'Glossary of the Yoga Texts' will help the students of Yoga to get well acquainted with the meaning of the Yoga terminologies used in the published literatures on traditional yoga. This will also help the students to develop conceptual understanding of Yoga by way of learning general meaning of various words in a simple way.

The present work represents a collection of words culled from seven traditional Hatha Yoga texts and also Patanjala Yoga Sutra. This book should come handy as a ready reckoner to those taking up regular study of the subject.

Interest of the Yoga students in the study of Traditional Texts is gradually growing. To facilitate study of the important texts, this Glossary will be found useful. Some of the technical terms in Yogic texts are not found in the general Sanskrit Dictionary, Hence the need was felt for such as aid. This Glossary includes the texts of Patanjala Yoga Sutra, Hathapradipika, Gheranda Samhita, Goraksasatakam, Satkarma-samgraha, Hatharatnavali, Siva Samhita and Vasistha Samhita. It is hoped that the students of Yoga will be benefitted from this publication.
