Vol-I Foreword As man's intellectual capabilities increase, he ventures to explore the essence of the world outside as well as that of his inner self. His efforts to systematically analyze and understand the manifest world constitute the physical sciences, where as the effort to understand the inner world constitutes spirituality. Both these types of research are indeed necessary for man. Both require an open mind, genuine inquisitiveness and extraordinary intelligence. But the beauty of the spiritual pursuit is that, along the course of the search, the seeker will realize that the truth pervading the manifest as well as the inner world is one and the same.

, Those who apply their analytical Swamiji ranks among such Yogis of our times. The attitude of such mind, with the help of logical deductions and experience this truth are real Yogis. Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Yogis towards life is entirely different from those of the commoners.

The way they make us see that truth is also unique and extraordinary. In order to reveal that Truth, they often shed flashes of light in our otherwise dark hearts. We will then be able to see the hidden impediments lying in our spiritual path. This will enable us to quicken our steps in our journey towards the Almighty.

This collection of discourses by His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji, verily the embodiment of the divine principle of Lord Dattatreya, belongs to the category of rare divine flashes of light. Therefore this collection is both God word as well as Godward. These are words, which explain to us about God. These also are the words, which take us Godward. Words act as flashes of light! To bind the rays of light is indeed a commendable job. When it is accomplished, the result will be a Sun, which imparts light perpetually. . The Data Yoga Center of USA has achieved this rare feat. They have hand picked the thought provoking discourses of Sri Swamiji, which appeared in the Bhakti Mala during the past two decades and have thus fulfilled the longing of the seekers of the truth, by bringing it out in the form of a book. By doing so, the Datta Yoga Center has undoubtedly endeared itself to the innumerable seekers of truth worldwide. The Datta Peetham lovingly acknowledges the efforts put in by Sri Lakshminarayana and others in accomplishing this dream task. We reverentially bow at the lotus feet of His Holiness Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji, not only for having blessed the world with His light but also for permitting to publish these discourses in the form of a book. We also acknowledge the involvement and commitment evinced by Bhakti Mala Trust.

Absolute Truth cannot be experienced unless the Sadguru showers His blessings on the seeker. This is a statute contrived by the nature. We beseech Sadguru Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji to shower His blessings on the readers so that they may obtain access to the Truth expounded in this book.

Preface It has always been our dream to bring the teachings of Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji in one easy to read volume that is readily available to anyone seeking the truth. God Word is the realization of this dream. It is a collection of the teachings of Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji of Mysore, India. These teachings were originally published under the title "Sookti Manjari" in Bhaktimala over the past two decades.

The main. purpose of publishing this book is to provide the reader the benefits of Sri Swamiji's teachings. The reader, irrespective of his/her race, religion and region will definitely get his/her wish fulfilled by following any of the social or spiritual paths shown by Sri. Swamiji. This is our strong conviction that led us to publish this book. We sincerely express our gratitude to our beloved Guru, Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji for His divine blessings to publish this book.

. Our special thanks to Sri K.M. Krishna Murthy of Mysore Ashram and to Mr. John Laird of Pittsburgh who provided us with some rare articles that were hard to find. Our thanks to Dr. V. Prakasa Rao, Dr. Shankar & Suneetha Kurra, and Ms. Ashweena Gonuguntla for their assistance in making this transcript.

Vol-II Foreword Human life has been considered as the most precious and excellent creations of the Lord, for it is only at this plane of existence that a man can reach the highest level of self-development and self-enfoldment.

Howsoever great progress or attainments one may make at the material level, real contentment and happiness will always evade him till his soul gets the nourishment of the spiritual experience. To have experience at the spiritual level, the need of Sadguru's company as well as recollections of his precepts and teachings are very essential. They charge a devotee, from time to time, to remain steadfast in his journey to the spiritual destination shown by the Sadguru.

Kabir - the great poet saint has said "It is the Guru who is in possession of the Divine Word which leads to the understanding of God ... Sadguru is like a true warrior who shoots the arrow of the Word. The moment it struck me, I was flat on the ground and a hole was cleaved into my heart (to see God)". Such is the power of Word!

God World II is a sacred reference of the teachings of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swarniji. These teachings provide to the reader the richness of spiritual wisdom narrated in a simple and unpretentious style. The contents of the book are spread over to a wide of subjects covering diverse aspects of the Supreme Reality, as unfolded by Pujya Sri Swamiji in his discourses, given at different points of time. The language of Pujya Sri Swamiji is the language of heart - a natural flow of communication filled with sublime and profound spiritual truths. The Datta Yoga Centre of U.S.A. and particularly its chairman Dr. Prakash Rao & Smt. Nandini Rao have done a great service to thousands of Pujya Sri Swarniji devotees all over the world, by collecting the discourses of Pujya Sri Swamiji and putting some of them together through this publication. That, it is their second venture in this direction, goes to show how dedicatedly they have done their follow up by documenting the spoken words of Pujya Sri Swamiji and finally putting them in the book form for the benefit of one and all.

Vol-III Foreword We are happy to present to the readers the third in the series of the great book GOD WORD. The earlier two books have been immensely popular among devotees and spiritual seekers. They were translated to several languages and have been quenching the thirst of many seekers. The third book is being published during the sacred occasion of. the 60th Birthday of Sadguru Deva Pujya Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Swamiji.

The discourses in this book has been drawn from various sources. We thank Dr. Prakash Rao of USA for the yeoman service rendered.

Book's Contents and Sample Pages
