I have been interested in learning about the lines on palm right since my adolesence. Psychology has also been my favourite subject right from day one. My first book on psychological problems was published in 1962. Prior to that, I had been regularly contributing my articles etc. to various journals and magazines.

While studying the two subjects I always detected a close and deep relationship between palmistry and psychology, though I could detect the linking clues after working laboriously hand for many years. I will be referring about them all in the coming chapters of this book.

Discerning my so deep interest in palmistry my friends often commented that I was wasting my time and energy in trying to evoke a person's future and past through the study of these lines. They would argue that these lines are actually the creases developed on the child's hand when it remains inside the mother's womb. But I would not agree because I always felt that there is a marked difference in the pattern of the lines eteched on each hand.
