JC Goel, vice president of a well-known reputed multinational company, suffered a heart attack in his office. He survived, but with an altogether different psyche. He started looking for his purpose in life, asking himself what dies, what survives, and why he is here. He eventually becomes an explorer of the hard truth of everything. In this pursuit, he keeps himself away from the marvellous drug (belief) offered by numerous religions. He ensures that he is not trapped in any human-created fantasy, illusion, delusion, imagination, or hallucination.
He examines life in both its physical and psychological dimensions. He uncovers the brain-mind-consciousness connection using the famous Double Slit Experiment. He uses only one instrument, which is his mind, to understand the creation of everything in the mind and the mind itself. He goes beyond the mind to unfold the mysteries of consciousness.
The book challenges anyone embarking on this journey, requires no belief, no devotion, no follow-up, and no action. Understanding is a form of action in and of itself. Mutation takes place in brain cells for true happiness and ultimate peace.
JC GOEL has dedicated his life to exploring the truth and only the truth. In his quest, he immersed himself in quantum mechanics, neuroscience, and evolutionary biology. He searched the ancient scriptures for hidden clues and attempted to decode thought, the fundamental unit of human psychology. He hopes to share his understanding with those who seek the whole truth rather than fragmented or partial truth. He lives a simple, peaceful life in Gurgaon, India and can be reached at [email protected]
My brush with an approaching death experience compels me to explore the hidden mysteries of matter, life, death, and consciousness. I survived with some serious doubts. Do I understand what life is? Simply put or expressed, what is death? What exactly is the nature of our conscious experience? Where do I fit into the grand scheme of things? What exactly is the universe all about?
Many people advised me seek out or find a spiritual guide, read religious scriptures, and start meditating regularly. I experimented with various faiths, followed various gurus, and tried out various meditation techniques. But I lost my way in the darkness of many challenges, confusions, and contradictions. After much soul-searching, I came to the conclusion that once we decide whether or not to believe in God, the matter is closed, and we stop caring about finding the truth. Then came the period of neither accepting nor rejecting anything but rather searching for new directions and exploring the hard truth of everything.
I attempted to investigate what might appear impossible or unreachable, but I resolved to devote the rest of my life to gaining a complete understanding of the whole truth. At first, I had trouble determining the source and method. Then I got the clue from the method of observing the movement of electrons, which revealed the potential of the quantum field. Finally, I identified myself as the source and moved forward using the scientific reductionism method (a method of reducing explanations to the smallest possible entities).
Life can only be understood backwards. I began tracing the origins of life, the evolution of the universe, and the materialisation of the earth. The scientific community has made immense strides in understanding the outer world. Science has developed specialised instruments and calculated the age of the universe.
Science asserts that it has discovered the truth about the nature of the reality we live in. Those who claim to be religious leaders often make bold claims about their understanding of God, the afterlife, and human consciousness. In life, we have three options: believe, know, or understand. Believing makes it easy to fall into a trap. Knowing implies familiarity or prior experience, which boosts confidence. Understanding is a psychological process that takes place at a deeper level in the cells of the brain. Believing is faith; knowing is information; and understanding is wisdom. Do we really understand the hard truths of matter, life, death, consciousness, and beyond? There are possibilities that our preconceived notions and skewed perspectives cause us to see the truth in a way that is distorted, fragmented, and limited, leading us to an incorrect understanding of the whole truth.
The book provides a thorough understanding of the hard truth of everything. It explores answers to every question that man has been searching for since he became aware of his own awareness. However, there are no easy answers. I have made an effort to put down and discuss some of the indicators I have explored over the past several years, which has eased my understanding of the whole truth. Science has already discovered the truth of matter up to some extent. Life is nothing more than a reflection of the natural phenomena of this creation, but the processes involved are very complex. This work is grounded in extensive research and careful observation of various aspects of life, including how the mind is formed. Death can be understood only after understanding life; consciousness transcends all matter, life, and death.
