I am the Universe "idam brahma" is all about discovery-the discovery of self and the discovery of the world around us. The book takes the characters and the readers out there to the infinite and down there-to the self. It is a story of a boy whose life is written by tragedy and curiosity. Curiosity makes him realize who he is and tragedy makes him go out in the universe. The question is: Who will win- tragedy or curiosity? Or both? Having in it every stuff you need- from suspense to romance- come with this book- to dive right into the obvious things around you, to solve the deepest mysteries of nature because you are what makes everything else here in the world. You are the universe!
You want to end it all? This is it? Such a coward you are! You think you can even understand a bit of what happens? Is it? What do you think of yourself? Do you even know what your life is all about? Hey you, I am talking to you Are you even listening?
He speaks with a stunning brilliance, with a sense of calling, for the unknown, in the infinite, amidst the hundred trees there. The nerves inside the skin of his forehead are clearly visible. As if he sucks all the energy the universe has to offer and pours it all. from his mouth. The cells in his body oscillate as if hit by an earthquake- as if by sudden abrupt slap.
Listen! Even if your heart cannot bear it. Strength! Strength! Strength is all you need, coward your ignorance has eaten you, see inside...
He sees him as a wild lion sees a lovely deer- with beasty expression of hunger. He knows no language-only knowledge- and they say knowledge has no language. A fountain of blood runs inside him. He has no hairs. His body is covered with a saffron cloth. An odd expression runs over his face- as if a lover has lost his beloved. He wants to shout. Actually, he is shouting- from inside.
You too- you too- (laughs and smiles- rather smirks) will end up as a commoner. Like everyone else is. Die! Die! Die! I'm fed up of seeing people like you- people who end up everything- who are too burdened by life. People who have a spark in them but they themselves kill it. What? Why do you look at me? Go jump off?
They stand at one end of a hill. They are at Himalayas. Utter silence surrounds them. There is ice all around- but their bodies are burning high. Someone is numb. Someone wants to jump. He tries not to stop him.
Someone: 'I have tried everything, I can't get back to normal, how can I make such a terrible mistake?'
He: 'So that's it baby, over, I'm telling you- this is one life you got! And I have spoiled it- badly... this is the truth."
