In the Nova takes on Elements, Dimensions and Real Intelligence' to redefine the league of Superheroes and Saviours from a teen's perspective. It draws upon the legacy of superpowers to stake its claim in the realm of science fiction purely through the power of imagination. Based on the importance of sheer determination, training and moral fibre of teenagers, these novellas attempt to play on the subtle chords of 'heroism' embedded in every teenager's mind.

Young Kajal Ranjan was born in Moscow, but her roots will forever lie in the holy city of Allahabad, India. At eighteen, she has lived and studied in Moscow (Russia): Addis Ababa (Ethiopia); Geneva (Switzerland); and Gaborone (Botswana). She enjoys reading books and watching science fiction movies. Written during the COVID-19 pandemic, this book is inspired by the profound universe and its eternal secrets.

Imagination is a very powerful tool. But very often, most of us brush it under the carpet, thinking that it is a vehicle for mere flights of fancy. Not so with young Kajal Ranjan. Using an imagination that literally touches the skies, she has produced a book, In The Nova, which talks about three different situations. Skillfully, Kajal Ranjan has inter-twined them into one humongous bundle of science fiction that can hold hands with the best of scientists and authors who work in this genre.

Kajal, who has nurtured her imagination and writing skills, has her roots in Botswana and has augmented her storytelling art from the rich tapestry of this country's cultural heritage. Her young mind has indeed produced an excellent work of science fiction that is a sure page-turner.

Flawlessly executed, this book will appeal to young and old alike and speaks volumes about the genius that this young lady is.
