Ayurveda the world's oldest medical system has given so many simple remedies to people to treat various ailments. Amongst them the decoction making is one of the simplest and easiest way to treat the dreadful disorders. At present the Corona is engulfing the whole universe and in this connection this kashaya has been given a great importance in the name of kaadha. Ayurveda has advised 5 primordial drug dosage forms which are simplest , easiest and most effective medical dosage forms to treat any sort of disease condition. Out of these five primary forms the kashaya Kalpana occupies major portion and a number of kashaya Kalpana have been mentioned in classics. The guidelines of methods of manufacturing and others have been enumerated in classics. In the present book an effort has been made to compile , disseminate the information and present in a simple, systematic and scientific pattern.

It will be helpful to all the U.G and P G students in particular and all the public in general, especially those who wants to prepare the decoctions to treat the current Corona like conditions.

Graduated from Dr. Nori Rama Shastry Govt Ayurvedic Medical college affliated to Nagarjuna University. Selected in 1st attempt in both reputed Universities of Ayurveda and completed post graduation in Rasa Shastra in the year 1985 from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. In the year 1990 received the doctorate degree from Banaras Hindu University. M.D theis work was appreciated by Academy of Ayurveda, Vijayawada and awarded Nagarjuna silver medal in recognition. served Banaras Hindu University in the capacity of Demonstrator and Ayurveda Campus of Tribhuvan University- Khatmandu in the capsity of Lecturer on WHO fellowship. Held high positions in the reputed modern and classical pharmacies.

Translated Vaidyak Paribasha Pradeep and Rasendra Sar Sangraha into into English and were published by Chaukhambha Sanskrit Sansthan, Varanasi. Co-authored the stri Vandhyatwa- A work of Prof. (Dr) Vinaya Kumari published by Chuakhamba Orientalia. Also published Parpati Kalpa A Pharmaceutical Dosage Form published by Chaukhamba Sanskrit Sansthan, Varanasi. Published a number of research articles in reputed journals. Presently working as Professor, Dept. of Rasa Shastra, National Institute ofAyurveda, Jaipur.

DEBASIS PANIGRAHI

Dr.Debasis Panigrahi, Director-Jyoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, Professor and Head Department of Rasa Shastra s/o Er Sri Ananta Prasad Panigrahi and Smt Kanan Bala Panigrahi born on 5th April 1975 in Orissa. Received PG and Ph,D from great reputed National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. He got certificate in drug standardization conducted by Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Got vast experience in teaching and writing. Published two books. Received several awards in commemoration of the work done.

SUPARNA SAHA

Dr. Suparna Saha working as Assistant Professor and Master Trainer covid 19 in Sanskriti Ayurvedic College Sanskriti Universisty, Mathura D/o Dr. Sushen Chandra Saha and Dr.Manjusha Saha is born on 22nd January 1990 in Calcutta. Received PG degree from National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur. Recipient of several awards Highly talented in curricular and co-curricular activities.
