He translated Astangasangraha, Bhela Samhita and Manas (psychiatry of Ayurveda) in to English.
I am happy to write a foreword to the book entitled "KA Y ACHIKITSA" written by Dr P Srinivasarao. Kayachikitsa is a unique holistic approach to the treatment in Ayurveda, and it requires the student to refer many Ayurvedic texts to comprehend it. Present CCIM syllabus on kayachikitsa is limited to 2 papers, adding many topics on modem medicine and a topic on "Rogiparikshapaddhati" I know DR P Srinivasa Rao since many years as a teacher of repute who taughtkayachikitsa in various govt Ayurvedic colleges of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
I consider him to be deserving person to write the text book of Kayachikitsa as he has the experience as a teacher and also as an author who translated the bookssnamely "Astangasangraha" and "Bhelasamhita" in to English. And also, he wrote "Manas" Psychiatry of medicine. I appreciate Dr P Srinivasarao for his painstaking efforts in compiling the text taking relevant matter from different Ayurvedic texts to cover the entire syllabus stipulated by the CCIM. I hope this book would serve as a ready reckoner for the students appearing for final BAMS exams in the subject Kayachikitsa.
I congratulate him in this regard and wish him all success.

I hope the book would be useful to all medical practioners of Ayurveda and also to the students of the final year BAMS at large.
