Dr. Pradeep K. completed his Ph.D. in Ayurveda from Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth, Pune, Maharashtra. He completed his BAMS and MD degrees in Kriyasharira (Physiology) from Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur, Kerala. He did his MSc in Biochemistry from KSOU Mysuru Completed MBA in HR and Marketing. He did his graduation in chemistry from the University of Calicut and his PG Diploma in Health Science Research from Kerala University, and then completed a PG Diploma in Clinical Research from the Institute of Good Manufacturing Practices in New Delhi, India. He is a Board of Studies member in Kerala University of Health Sciences, Executive Editor in Kerala Journal of Ayurveda, reviewer of many scientific journals, and he has published articles in International Journals. He has authored multiple works such as: "Anusandhana Handbook of research methodology and bio-statistics for PG scholars," "MCQs in Research and Statistics," "Short Handbook of Qualitative research and Pocket Book of Clinical Biochemistry ECG and Spirometry for Ayurveda Practitioners" He is currently working as Associate Professor in Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Kanmar, Kerala.

Dr Sumi 5. Completed IAMS and MD in Kriya Sarrera from Govt Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur, Kerala by securing University Ist rank in BAMS. She has received awards such as the Jivaka Award, Nagarjuna Merit Award and The Kottakkal Arya Vaidya Sala Centenary Award of 2010. She was also the 1" rank holder in MD (Kriya Sareera-Kerala University of Health Sciences) She has published articles in various journals and also presented papers in many seminars. She is currently working as Assistant Professor in Dept. of Kriya Sarvera, Govt. Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur and is a Ph.D. scholar at Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Jaseena C completed her BAMS from Vaidyaratnam Ayurveda College, Ollur, Thrissur, Kerala and MD in Kriyasareers from Govt Ayurveda Medical College, Kannur, Kerala. She is a PhD scholar at the Kerala University of Health Sciences Currently, she is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Kriya Sareera, Mandsaur Institute of Ayurveda Education and Research, Madhya Pradesh. She has published many articles in various journals and also presented a good number of papers in various seminars.

This book Kriyasarira (Ayurveda Physiology) is primed for the BAMS students of Ayurveda Colleges as per the new curriculum of NCISM We have tried our best to simplify the book to facilitate easy learning for undergraduate students. As per the new syllabus, we have incorporated MCQs and short and long answer questions to edify the students about the questions they face for the university exams. We sincerely invite the readers to feel free and write to us expressing their frank opinions, critical comments and constructive suggestions.
