T.G.LIYER, born in 1927 at Kochi, Kerala, is a Science Post-Graduate from Banaras Hindu University. While working for his Ph.D. He was selected in the Indian Police Service. He served as a Police Officer at various levels and retired as Director-General, Central Reserve Police Force, New Delhi in 1985. He is a recipient of Meritorious and Distinguished Service Medals from the President of India, while in the Police.
He joined the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in 1986 as Honorary Director. At Nagpur. His aptitude for writing manifested while in the Police and it flowered further in the Bhavan. The main focus of his writing revolves around Self-Development. So far he has published about 3.000 features during a period of three decades. They are still appearing in prestigious Newspapers and Magazines.
The present Book "INNER LIGHT is a collection of such publications carefully selected to illuminate the mind of the reader. A spark can be a blazing fire depending on its presentation. That has been the attempt of the author in this Book.
