The Himalayan ranges are one of the most immense safety guard and life seving mountain ranges for all over the world. When we talk in Indian perspective travers almost twelve states of India and about fifty billion people are living in these Himalayan areas. It ranges approximately 43 million kilometer aree up to India, China, Bhutan, Myanmar, and Nepal worldwide. One thousand three hundred million people of these countries are living their lives in Himalayan region which is approximately the twenty percent lation of the world. Since the people has becoming more dependable upon Himalayas as it gives us the amvironmental safety, plenty of drinking water and favorable conditions for agriculture. But nowadays according to the researches from all over the world, Inspite of hoving such a great importance in human life Himalayas are getting polluted day by day from human octions. One hand the constant thowing of Himalayan Mountains emerges as an important factor for the obatement of our natural resources and on the other hand because of it the actretion in the seo water has been raises a big question on the identity of the countries situated on the seacoast region. The increasing temperature in the high Himalayon areas is wreaking the situation of unavailability of less drinking water and it is also scathing many government projects of development. These climate changes are actually affecting the Himalayan culture, resources and even to the human life style. This has become a burning issue of concern for the survival of human life and civilization too.
Nowadays due to negative effect of human actions the great Himalaya is facing the problem of climate changes in it. On the name of development a large number of projects and policies like execution and functioning of electricity- water projeds, construction roads to interior lands are highly affecting the dimate over the Himalayan region. Apart from knowing the fact that Himalaya is able to fulfill the basic needs like food and drinking water of the slaty percent of the world's population. But in the present time somewhere it has been becoming unable to provide sufficient amount of drinking water to their people living in the region. Since a long time fluxing rivers from Himalaya have given to our country the beauty of green-estate and white revolution in terms of nature. But nowadays they have remained only a source to produce electricity.
The scale of modern development is decreasing the importance of the Himalaya. Even sometimes it pretends that the word 'environment conservation is just declining from the dictionary of the government. On the name of environment conservation a number of projects are created by the government but the reality is something different. The Himalayan region is not getting benefitted by these Projects on grass root level. The areas where the huge projects of water- electricity are initiated have become more sensitive in terms of earthquakes and flood etc, it is because of the use of explosion for the making of tunnels. These explosions are not only bringing the climatic changes but also affecting the population and habitat over there.
History witnesses none community wants to leave their culture, civilization, land etc, and they always wants to get attached with their roots. But the changing conditions of the Himalayan region are fording to exile for their livelihood and betterment of life. On the name of development the government and the local institutions concerned with environmental consciousness have made so many promises but the populations residing in the interior Himalayan region are far away from the benefits of such initiatives.
