The primary purpose which has motivated us in writing and issuing this little volume is not to add to the great number of good books already in the market, but firstly, to document comprehensively a few of the important experiments we have so far made and the results obtained, in our respective fields of researches for some years to ascertain the sensational effects of magnetism on biological systems of plant, animal and human life, and in clinical applications to combat various ailments and diseases which modern therapies fail to tackle. Secondly, to challenge such of those who still, in this century, maintain and proclaim that magnetism exercises no physiological action whatsoever but, is only an instrument in the hands of the greedy for the practice of witchcraft and charlatanry.

We have advisedly chosen to include herein some of the relevant excerpts from a wide range of published literature pointing to painstaking and intelligent investigations made, and excellent results achieved, on the subject by outstanding scientists of the day to give the readers a true picture of the magnitude of their performances and of the greater fields that yet remain to be covered to unlock and probe into the many secrets hidden in the Magnet.

We have had in recent months a spate of communications from many professional colleagues and interested laymen to know fully the effects of magnetic fields on biological systems in their healthy condition and diseased state. We have found it difficult to answer to individual enquiries except by an elaborate exposition which we are unable to undertake.

We are therefore jointly bringing out this volume in the confident hope that it should prove of real value and interest to them and others. We would much like that they have contact with us in future, and give us also the benefit of their experiences in the repetition of our experiments and their own further research.
