Magus of Astromagnetism is an exposition of Magnetic Theory of how planetary motions orchestrate the birth, evolution and liberation of human beings. Planets' magnetism and motions determine the frequency and duration of female menstruation-ovulation cycles and fertilization leading to the birth of a child and its gender. The book also exposes DNA Finger Printing and Horoscopy as tools in Forensic Science for determining paternity or maternity of a child.

The book deals with the magnetism of planets, lunar mansions and zodiacal signs as the cosmic counterparts of DNA molecules available in space and that interplanetary transportation of Meteorites are the carriers of the DNA molecules intact to and from the higher worlds. The Magnetic Theory also explains the gradual spiritual evolution of human being and the role played by 'Junk DNA' and supercoiling of DNA in the liberation of a human being from the never ending death-birth cycles. The magnetic theory connects man (adhibhuta), the microcosm, to the macrocosmtheUniverse (adhideva and adhyatma).

Dr. Y. V. Subba Rao, Ph.D., FIE., C.Eng. (1)., is a Chartered Mining Engineer, Govt. of India Certified Mines Manager and Mines Surveyor. He learnt Vedic Astrology based on Astronomy from his father at his very early age. He studied Geology and Astronomy subjects as part of his Mining engineering curriculum.

He was a faculty member of Mining Department of Osmania University and later Geology Department of S. V. University, Tirupati, India. He retired as Executive Engineer, University Science and Instrumentation Centre, S. V. University, Tirupati, India on superannuation in 1996. He was formerly Visiting Professor of Jyotish (Astronomy), Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth, Tirupati (2000-2013).

He is the author of several books on Veda-Sciences which have been Published by Lambert Academic Publications (LAP), West Germany. He has several research papers to his credit published in high impact Indian and International Journals of USA, and UK. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India) - Mining and Metallurgy Division; Member of Electron Microscope Society of India; Member, National Manuscripts Mission ('namami'), Ministry of Culture, Government of India and Member, Editorial Board of "Veda Darshini" International Monthly Research Journal of S. V. Vedic University, Tirupati.

This book titled "Magus of Astromagnetism" is an exposition of how astrology works in understanding the birth, death, life beyond and liberation. One of the most exciting topics covered in the Atharvaveda is electricity. In fact, the Atharvaveda is a prime example of how the majority of Hindu scriptures delve deep into practical and material matters that affect every day human life. Electricity and magnetism are two inseparable entities. Omnipresent magnetism throughout the Universe is the underlying cause of functioning of the Vedic Astrology.

It will be fully apparent from the Atharvaveda that Electrical Energy and its properties were fully understood by Vedic sages. Today, it is definitely used in everyday technological applications. It is an absolute truth that Vedic scientists knew far more about the properties of electricity than us. It was not till very recently, that modern day scientists discovered and began research on the potential usage of electrical energy in science and other related areas.

The Vedas are of completely of divine origin. Vedas are words of divine wisdom from the eternal source of Supreme Consciousness itself. Great men called "Rishis" of exalted wisdom compiled these eternal spiritual and natural laws into several volumes, called "Vedas". The Vedas are a wealth of information, not only about philosophical and spiritual ideals, but also contains invaluable and abundant scientific wisdom that clearly explain the laws governing scientific phenomenon, practical applications, and the methods for utilization of e natural resources. Scientists, mathematicians, manufacturers, computer awesome programmers and many others can greatly benefit from this vast repertoire of information and knowledge and find solutions to the greatest mysteries of the world.

Jyothisha is a vast subject involving issues related to the planets and the beings therein. Many ancient and modern scholars have written innumerable treatises. I am happy to announce the publication of Magnus of Astromangetism authored by Dr. Y.V. Subba Rao. Dr. Rao is a well known figure in the field of Astrology, a few of whose books have been already published by this University. Now, he comes up with yet another masterpiece titled "Magnus of Astromagnetism".

This is a very specialized area in the field of Jyothisha. Besides the ancient Rushis, in modern times scholars like B.G. Tilak, J.C. Bose have touched the subject of Astromagnetism. Dr. Y.V. Subba Rao deserves our congratulations on reintroducing the subject after a long span of gap. In his thirteen-chaptered book, he went on discussing nature of the Earth, the influence of the Astromagnetism / on human DNA, impact of Astromagnetism on birth of a child and so on. Ultimately, he emphatically concludes that this knowledge. helps to attain liberation since it requires many preliminary steps and Karma Yoga is an important one of them. He vividly explains the yoga.
