Among the places of worship of reputation best and visitation most in the State of Andhra Pradesh, apart from those existing since the Vedic times, Mantralaya enshrining the Brindavan of Mahamaneeshi Raghvendra Swami, the greatest humanist Madhva Matadhipathi, occupies the highest place and proudly displays a spectacular record of outstanding humanitarian ministrations to the devotees in general, and religionists in particular. It has become one of the premier pilgrimage centres ever since that Mahapravakta entering the Samadhi, a little over three hundred years ago. Since the soft, gentle sprkle of compassion emanating from that All-merciful manavatamurthi, manifesting itself in miracles is illumning the dark worlds of grief and fulfilling the just -pirations of the devotees by spiritual awakening and cod consciousness, its popularity is mounting higher to outstepping others of similar claims and command.
If there exists in this materialistic mod world, a shrine, sans image; an Acharya, sans corporal presence; a sermon, sans sound; a light, sans visual form; a boon, sans meditation; progress, sans audio or video medium is having such strong hold on millions of people, irrespective of man-made distinctions and turned itself into a spiritual light house of the world, it is none other than Mantralaya! Mantralaya!! And Mantralaya !!! Is it not then a matter of remarkable pride of eternal fascination? For, this Mantralaya is meeting that description of every point in question. Indeed, its potentialities are inexhaustible; powers inestimable; and magnatism, irresistable; and as such, it merits instant attention and whole-hearted veneration. Undoubtedly, this is a temple with a hallowed airference. Not one in fact, but a lot galore. Its unique features enthrall the genuine theists; and plus points prepare even the sceptics to give a od brush to their perverted minds and hurry them to reach it along with the accredited theists.
And of the two illustrious spiritual leaders, Sri Vadiraju Guru Sarvabhouma and Sri Raghavendraswamy, who even after Sajiva Samadhi are demonstrating a wide variety of miraculous powers and widening the circle of the community of theists, His Holiness Raghavendra swami, the illustrious Pontiff of Madvamathapitha occupies the first place.
