Manu is considered to be the first law-giver of the world. He has composed Manusmrti in verse form. Scholars of repute have translated this text into English in various time in various place. They have also written introductions to their respective translations which contain their critical views. Since those introductions are published in different places by different publishers, interested persons especially the needy scholars face difficulties to find those in a single volume. Keeping this view in mind five introductions of five scholars are included in this book. Henceforth scholars will come in contact with those introductions directly in a single volume.
